Textured Interior Paint Painting Ceiling With Textured Behr Paint?

Painting ceiling with textured behr paint? - textured interior paint

I paint the roof of my (cast wheel paint) Behr sand textured interior finishes. It is so thick. Can I make the color normally w / Behr Texture to apply? The areas that we painted (about 1 / 2 ceiling) are different thicknesses and reliefs. We paint the night before. How can I "beat" areas of thicker and sweeter than a little? Roller was used to implement large loop

The use of texture of the sand painting with a roller is almost impossible. I am a painter, and for 35 years. Never the texture of the sand with a roller.
Removing paint is slippery as it applies to areas without texture, but when he paints an area where you applied the texture to provide more grip and texture. two possibilities. 1 apply texture so thick, it will not accept clothing more.several occurred construct. 2, all textures and apply with a trowel scraping

I paint every day in my life and I agree with the answer of 1, although I am not a fan of all the texture of the canvas to have. I would probably painted ceiling of the wall below.

Painting in a special formulation is intended. No offense, but what you suggest, is like drinking one gallons latex, by half a liter of water, and finally with 1.5 liters. You may be disappointed.

Second, you can try this btw. Paint a piece of scrap, even with reg. Latex. Use a few sheets of paper to block a field. Pull the paper, so that drying roll, then over the entire test again. What is your heart is obvious to the denuded areas, but also by the thickness of the paint on painted surfaces. A similar effect is seen in the sand painting, even if they could pin advantage that seems to have more buildup, the probability of a flawless finish is debatable.

Of course you can color in the sand flat. I often do with a stucco effect of imitation, but also / smooth, it is not the result.

There is no easy solution. They gave me good advice in the first 2 answers. You can purchase a drywall 1 / 4 thick, and laid them on the ceiling and then to the mud on the seams repainted. I would like to use painters caulk around the edges, instead of trying to blur the edges of the wall, but I warn you, it is not filled putty key gaps that must be close to the wall. Good luck.
